God is Good

“God is Good” is an English curriculum for children at beginning language levels in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) contexts. It has a teacher’s book and four levels, which can be used in pre-K through grade 3, or K-4. The first level is all oral language development, with a simple workbook for drawing/coloring. The final level is a low intermediate level for children. The materials include a Bible verse and prayer in each unit, and emphasize the goodness of God through statements such as “God is good because He gives us good food.” The material is provided as word documents so that it can be edited for different contexts. It has been used in contexts of other faiths, with the removal of some of the Bible verses and prayers, but maintaining the central theme of a God who is good and who loves us.
