Dr. Dormer has provided many professional development services at conferences and in schools around the globe, on meeting the needs of English learners (ELs). She lived overseas and worked in international and national Christian schools for many years. Additionally, as the author of What School Leaders Need to Know about English Learners (TESOL Press), and two texts within ACSI’s EFL series, she is imminently qualified to address both school leadership and classroom issues. CONSULTING
Dr. Dormer works with international and national Christian schools providing consultation on programming for meeting the needs of English learners (ELs) Some of the consulting work she is able to provide includes:
Diagnosing a school’s needs with regard to language development.
Corresponding with school personnel in the selection of curricula, programming and assessment.
Providing direction on training needs of school staff in meeting the needs of ELs.
Corresponding with school personnel on individual English learner cases, processing their needs and providing insight on possible approaches.
CONTRACT SERVICES
